It was supposed to be a bombshell story. This July, it was reported that the FBI had failed in its duty to vet Brett Kavanaugh. Why? Because it had received — get this — over 4,500 tips on Kavanaugh that it did not fully investigate. Maybe it’s just us, but that sounds like thousands of hysterical women having “recovered memories” because the sacrament of abortion was on the line. This was after Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, in March, called for Attorney General Merrick Garland to launch a probe into the FBI’s “fake” vetting of Kavanaugh. We thought we’d learned during the Trump presidency that it was un-American to question the intelligence community.
Enter Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who thinks Kavanaugh should have recused himself from today’s abortion case because he still remains credibly accused of sexual assault on multiple accounts.
Reminder that Brett Kavanaugh *still* remains credibly accused of sexual assault on multiple accounts w/ corroborated details & this year the FBI admitted it never fully investigated.
Yet the court is letting him decide on whether to legalize forced birth in the US. No recusal.

This is simply not substantiated by facts.
Even if it was true.
Which it's not.
It would have absolutely no relevance to the case at hand. https://t.co/G5r4OsUWvV

Reminder that Buzz Aldrin remains credibly accused of faking the moon landing and actually being a lizard person from Mars. https://t.co/LpIjYvWHX3

This is the kind of stuff that makes AOC so despicable.
Kavanaugh is not credibly accused on even one account, much less multiple, of SA.
Also, "forced birth" is not the topic before SCOTUS.
But ends always justify the lies. https://t.co/NhGlsbK6z5

Reminder that the accusation against Brett Kavanaugh was *never* credible. https://t.co/U8DHn1wKFi

This is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever read from a member of Congress and there's a lot of competition. https://t.co/LOksyYjSzo

Reminder that Ford provided no evidence, changed her story multiple times over the years on when it happened, how old she was, how many were at the party, how many assaulted her, if she could hear voices downstairs, and she had zero corroboration & her named witness doubts her https://t.co/pcwM6GEmy3

He was accused, and the whole thing was turned into a deeply unserious piece of theatre by the likes of AOC and the Democratic leadership. The truth was never what they were pursuing nor was Kavanaghs actual record as a judge ever really scrutinised. https://t.co/ID52TnJ9Vy

Kamala Harris sure used it to showboat, though, didn’t she?
This is a stupid conspiracy theory.
No one call her out though because… slaaaay queeeen! https://t.co/L0eMwC3ivs

This just doesn't hit the same way when you remember that more than half of this paragraph applies to Joe Biden as well. https://t.co/EvF8lU4wSU

All of AOC’s followers are reminding her not to forget about Clarence Thomas, either.

Let’s hear from Tara Reade on this:
Agreed @AOC. Remember that Biden *still*remains credibly accused of sexual assault (by me) & sexual harassment on multiple accounts (8) w/corroborated details and he was never investigated yet he is POTUS.Thank you for believing all survivors regardless of political affiliation https://t.co/Jmfng23jPU

Vox judicial scholar Ian Millhiser can’t get over how ‘wild’ it is that Trump-appointed SCOTUS justices are allowed to be involved in decisions https://t.co/qXUqcczxpq
