James O’Keefe and Project Veritas on Monday night released a new undercover video which catches both Sen. Claire McCaskill and some of her campaign staffers explaining some of the things she stands for that people just can’t know about.

McCaskill talks proudly on the video about her votes for gun control, but a staffer lets slip that she might extend her list of things to ban to semiautomatic AR rifles … at first … and then go after all semi-automatics.
A staffer also admits that McCaskill has “worked out stuff with Moms Demand Action to make sure that she can support their goals without supporting the organization openly.”

A staffer who “loves Obama to pieces” also explained that the former president is too liberal for McCaskill to risk having him campaign for her, even though they “essentially have the same views on everything” — it’s just that “people just can’t know that.”
