As Twitchy reported earlier today, Attorney General Jeff Sessions ate at a Tex-Mex restaurant the same day he gave a speech to law enforcement agents in the Houston area.
That’s it.
But here’s how The Hill framed it:
Sessions dined at Mexican restaurant before giving speech against immigration https://t.co/2c2u1oNFyB pic.twitter.com/Oh7drZivl6

Against immigration?
But wait, there’s more. In an important follow-up, The Hill reports that the restaurant, El Tiempo Cantina, had to defend itself after word got out that it served Sessions.

The Hill reports that the restaurant faced a social media backlash after posting on Facebook that Sessions had dined there:
“What were you thinking? Serving people that support separating families, ripping children and babies from parents…being against immigrants which you benefit the most from?” posted one Yelp reviewer.
You know, 2018 sucks.
We keep telling you that you don't want to play this dumb game, but you're not listening. https://t.co/PbzYDWTouJ

Why shouldn't a Mexican restaurant serve Sessions so long as he pays and tips? Let's not get really stupid, shall we.

When did bullying restaurant owners become a fad??

They shouldn’t have to defend themselves. It’s the business’s choice, not the outrage mob’s. I’m not against some estabs choosing to not serve people, but if you just want to get through the day, make your ends meet, and serve someone, even if you disagree with them, so be it. https://t.co/v9OUd6qlkE

Why would the need to defend anything? Why? Is this not America?

What do you expect them to say? They don’t want Antifa burning their restaurant down.
— DiversityofIdeas (@equityopinion) August 12, 2018
I'm confused. I thought the lefts argument was business owners have no say in who they serve since they are open to the public, remember "BAKE THE CAKE!" https://t.co/foHc9JHIkO

Why. The hell. Would a Mexican RESTAURANT. Have to defend. Giving service. To a customer.
WHAT IS GOING ON THIS IS INSANE https://t.co/11GmZuxRSa

They shouldn't have to defend themselves. This is sad and pathetic. The left in this country is unhinged. #walkaway
