By order of Mayor Bill de Blasio, all non-emergency vehicles, or “anything that has to do with leisure or convenience,” was required to be off the streets of New York City by 11 p.m. Monday. That can only mean that CNN’s “Blizzardmobile” is considered some sort of emergency vehicle or that anchor Don Lemon is willing to risk a hefty fine to bring the nation video of … nothing much, really.

Wait…They're ACTUALLY calling it the #BlizzardMobile?!?

It’s a thing, all right. And CNN itself has dubbed it the Blizzardmobile.
CNN's Blizzardmobile. Or as regular people call it, a car. #blizzardof2015 pic.twitter.com/9b4VWATuTs

"We are calling it the BlizzardMobile because that's what it is. And we are out in it." — Don Lemon. Facts, man.

CNN's BLIZZARDMOBILE, a specially equipped weather vehicle, says Don Lemon, was just passed by a Toyota Prius. #Honest

The Blizzardmobile isn’t just for reporting the weather.
Now on CNN: Don Lemon is doing a segment about #DeflateGate while riding around Manhattan in an SUV during a snowstorm.

With Lemon on the case, the rest of you reporters might as well come on in and warm up.
Will some 'reporter' stand outside in the #BlizzardOf2015 & freeze into a pillar of ice as he warns us not to stand outside in the blizzard?
— Quincy Jackson ?? (@qrayjack) January 26, 2015
"It's terrible outside and no one should be out here tonight" said the reporter, reporting from outside.
— michele (@inthefade) January 27, 2015
"Hi, I'm so and so reporting live from outside where no one is around." – Pretty much every reporter tonight.
— Old Man Nathanson ♠️♦️♣️♥️ (@2outhits) January 27, 2015
No more overdone stunt than reporter standing outside in the weather. The viewer can go outside and feel the wind and wind/rain too.
— Keith Pearson (@keith_pearson) January 27, 2015
#youknowitsablizzardwhen every reporter is outside. They're not even talking about the weather, but they're outside
