President Biden and the Democrats have been working hard to spread the message that a vote for a Republican is a threat to democracy and although that message does not seem to be working, an immigration lawyer decided to tweet about his vote and it inspired others to do the same.
I’m an immigration lawyer who represents refugees facing deportation, and I voted a straight Republican ticket. I am NOT a threat to Democracy. I’m the face of it.

We are impressed. Not because he has voted a certain way, but because he is pushing back on some pretty insane political rhetoric. Voting in a manner you feel best serves you or your family is NOT a threat to the country in any way and the left deserves any and all pushback they get on that claim.
I am 45, a CPA that worked two jobs for 10 solid yrs to become the first person in my family to graduate from college. I just voted a straight Republican ticket

We loved the variety of people who were inspired to tweet who they were and why they voted the way they did.
I'm a CEO and employer of dozens of employees, commit 20% of income to charity, raising 5 incredible kids, and reinvest in my community. I vote Republican. I am NOT a threat to #Democracy. I'm the face of it. #WeThePeople

There is NO small voice or small vote! Each person who votes can make a difference. You are here. You exist. You matter and so does your vote.
I’m the owner of two small businesses. I have raised two amazing children. I’ve coached 3 year old soccer teams, been president of both my children’s music organizations booster clubs. I early voted a straight Republican ticket. I am NOT a threat to Democracy. I’m the face of it.

What an inspiring thread! We at Twitchy cover a lot of mess and point and laugh at a lot of people, but it was a nice break to just get to gather and read about all of these people, who are doing normal everyday things, but taking the time to participate in one of our greatest honors: voting for our government. Get out and vote. Get informed. Do not allow anyone to bully you into thinking you are nobody, or that your vote does not matter. No matter how many names they call you, no matter how much they scream that you are a threat, vote anyway.
You matter. Your vote matters. Go Vote.
