Guess how the Sunday shows covered the attempted assassination of Justice Kavanaugh

Steve Guest, special advisor for communications for Senator Ted Cruz, broke down the Sunday show coverage of the attempted assassination of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh:

Zero mentions from ABC, NBC, CBS, and CNN. We’d put on our shocked faces here but at this point, we don’t have the energy to pretend for these hypocrites.

Imagine if the roles in this scenario were reversed?

Anyone? Anyone?

Didn’t think so.

It sure does, and it sure is. In what universe is an attempt on the life of a sitting Supreme Court Justice not major news? This should have been covered on all of the Sunday shows, and it most certainly would have been if this despicable threat had been directed toward one of the liberal justices.

Naturally, there are some folks who don’t think a person loaded down with weapons traveling hundreds of miles with the stated intent of committing murder is worthy of coverage since nothing actually “happened”.

It is true, that today’s media seems to be all about the drama and ratings, but it’s interesting that it only seems to be a story if it goes in one direction.

Fox News Sunday DID cover the story, and Senator Chris Coons had this to say to Brett Baier:

We had no idea that loophole existed either.

In conclusion:

Accurate, unfortunately.
