While the British press may not have intended the story to be positive, some Americans are lauding UK Prime Minister David Cameron for allegedly blowing off a call from President Obama to finish a tennis match. The allegation was made in the pages of the Daily Telegraph by Cameron’s self-proclaimed tennis partner Charlie Brooks — husband of disgraced tabloid editor Rebekah Brooks. 10 Downing Street has disputed the claim, saying that records show no call from Obama during the only recent tennis meeting between the two.
No 10 "scratching heads" over Charlie Brooks's claim PM #Cameron told #Obama to phone back as he was playing tennis http://t.co/IeycUGwe

However, while this may be damaging across the pond, some on this side think it merely gives our president a taste of his own medicine.

While we’re skeptical of the claim itself, it is interesting that a lot of people in the supposedly-insulted States are feeling more validated than miffed.
As for the actual validity of the story, this guy probably had the right idea:
Total non-story accompanied by truly splendid pic of Quasimodo Cameron http://t.co/u9EU0MX6
