Carry on, chaps! Cameron blows off Obama for tennis?

While the British press may not have intended the story to be positive, some Americans are lauding UK Prime Minister David Cameron for allegedly blowing off a call from President Obama to finish a tennis match. The allegation was made in the pages of the Daily Telegraph by Cameron’s self-proclaimed tennis partner Charlie Brooks — husband of disgraced tabloid editor Rebekah Brooks. 10 Downing Street has disputed the claim, saying that records show no call from Obama during the only recent tennis meeting between the two.

However, while this may be damaging across the pond, some on this side think it merely gives our president a taste of his own medicine.

While we’re skeptical of the claim itself, it is interesting that a lot of people in the supposedly-insulted States are feeling more validated than miffed.
