Preet Bharara is continuing his attempt to elicit sympathy and support from frustrated leftists as a result of his firing. Bharara was let go after Attorney General Jeff Sessions asked for the resignation of remaining Obama appointees in the State Department. He decided to take a shot at President Trump on his way out the door.
By the way, now I know what the Moreland Commission must have felt like.

His reference is to a commission created in New York to investigate corruption. The commission was abruptly shut down by Gov. Andrew Cuomo roughly a year after it was created. As U.S. attorney, Preet Bharara opened an investigation into the commission and possible interference by the governor.
Moreland Commission was shut down after they started looking into Cuomo; Bharara investigated why.
