Trump on Obama wiretapping allegations: 'This will be investigated, it will all come out. I will be proven right'

Newsmax CEO Christopher Ruddy, who is friends with President Trump, reports that Trump told him that everything he tweeted about Obama and wiretaps will be “proven right“:

I spoke with the President twice yesterday about the wiretap story. I haven’t seen him this pissed off in a long time. When I mentioned Obama “denials” about the wiretaps, he shot back: “This will be investigated, it will all come out. I will be proven right.”

CNN’s Brian Stelter followed up with Ruddy, adding at the end of this clip that Trump “is pissed at what’s going on”:

The NYT’s Maggie Haberman also reported that Trump was “frustrated” that surrogates and staffers didn’t do a good enough job defending him on the Sunday shows:
