Facebook user Michael Luciano posted this terrifying video of his evacuation from the fire in Gatlinburg, Tennessee Monday night.
“We almost didn’t make it out alive!! But we did,” wrote Luciano.
At one point, the driver of the truck runs over a burning tree and you can hear the videographer scream, “hit the gas!”

Mandatory evacuations were ordered in the area last night, with the fires reportedly destroying many structures overnight:
