Over the weekend, Angela Paxton released a campaign video endorsing her estranged husband, Ken Paxton, for the U.S. Senate. Maybe 'endorsed' is the wrong word. Paxton said she is voting for EVERY Republican candidate down the ballot this upcoming Election Day. That includes her husband, whom she’s currently seeking to divorce. So, an endorsement without an endorsement. Still, that shows how disastrous a victory for Democrat James Talarico would be for Texas.
Here’s the video. (WATCH)
🚨Angela Paxton, the estranged wife of Ken Paxton, says she’s voting Republican down the ballot “Either we hold every Republican seat or we hand the future of Texas to the other team,” she said. “Let’s hold the line, together.” https://t.co/96FbSJdA70

She doesn’t endorse Ken Paxton by name but she endorses the Republican ticket. Paxton is on the Republican ticket. Mrs. Paxton is putting country above self.

Talarico is just that bad.
CNN’s Jake Tapper showed Angela Paxton’s video on his Sunday show. Republican commentator Scott Jennings told Tapper the truth about how many Texans will vote this November. They don’t necessarily like Paxton, but the alternative is voting to destroy everything they hold dear. (WATCH)
When Jake Tapper asked Scott Jennings if “holding your nose” and voting for Ken Paxton is a winning strategy, Jennings dropped an important big-picture message. The phrase he used was “not wanting to put his face in a wood chipper.” That line says it all. For context, this comes after Paxton’s estranged wife publicly urged Texas voters to support her husband. JENNINGS: “I mean, look, it’s something that people are talking about down there. The fact that she decided to, to go out and become part of this campaign is noteworthy.” “And I mean, two things can be true.” “You could think Ken Paxton has made, you know, bad personal decisions.” “But at the same time, you know, I don’t want to put my face in a wood chipper and elect Democrats to run the country.” “I mean, they’ve gone plumb crazy right now with all the socialism and the abolish ICE and the abolish prisons and the abolish borders.” “Et cetera. Et cetera.” “Just so just because I have some quibble with Ken Paxton’s personal life, doesn’t mean I have to turn the country over to people who hate it.” That’s the point. You don’t have to pretend a candidate is perfect to understand what’s at stake when you cast your vote.

Look at Tapper's smug face. He thinks he has a 'gotcha' question that's going to trip up Scott Jennings.

Smug bastard Tapper thought he made a nice dig. My man Scott poured gasoline on the dems and lit them up by likening them to putting one's face in a woodchipper. The man is brilliant.

For that reason, Paxton will likely win despite being repulsive to many Republican voters and sane independents.
This idea that Republican voters need to punish the GOP by electing people who exist to destroy America is a weird flex. Once those Democrats get elected, they’ll make it impossible for voters to remove them.

Truth. @ScottJenningsKY pic.twitter.com/k5E9c8zCxR
And ***that*** quip should be adopted by every Republican candidate in the country: 'It's a vote for me, or you're putting your head in a wood-chipper. The dems have gone plumb crazy!"

Ah, ‘the lesser of two evils’ or, in this case, ‘the guy I don’t like or the they/them who is an America-hating communist.’ Decisions, decisions.
Commenters say they’ve already been voting like this for ages. Voting against candidates is virtually a tradition.
I can count on one hand the number of times I have voted "for" a candidate in my 55 yrs. The rest of the time I voted against the opposition
— OrangeElvis (@emit151) October 4, 2026
Amen brother! Every election seems to entail choosing the lesser of two evils. I pick the one most likely to leave me (and my wallet) alone. Frankly, these days that's never the Democrats.

Most Republicans have mastered the art of holding their noses. This time should be easier given the utter stench emanating from James Talarico. Paxton is a rose garden compared to him. Choose wisely; we'll all breathe easier if Talarico and other insane Democrats don’t reach Congress this voting cycle.
Editor's Note: The Democrat Party has been infected by socialism, and it's spreading FAST. Democrats are claiming there's nothing to worry about, but we know the truth.
