It’s always a hoot watching ‘journalists’ grapple with why the public distrusts them. They see the reason for the distrust in their mirrors every day, but refuse to recognize it. Instead, we get podcasting hacks like Chuck Todd (formerly of NBC News) pointing in a dozen directions when the finger of blame should be pointing at him and everyone in his industry.
Here he is frantically avoiding the truth. (WATCH)
Chuck Todd blames Americans’ cratering trust in the media on “lack of reliable political leadership” and “big tech algorithms."

It could never be the relentless stream of lies and hoaxes perpetrated on Americans by people *like Chuck.*
Truly amazing stuff. pic.twitter.com/ivAqCQigPG
I don’t trust Chuck’s analysis as to why Americans don’t trust Chuck’s analysis.

It’s because we know the real reason for distrust can be summed up in a few words.
Commenters know trust is forever gone because ‘journalists’ won’t stop lying. It’s really that simple.
The media’s cratered trust is entirely self-inflicted.

It has nothing to do with MSM constantly lying for the Democrats, of course.

Let me explain something to Chuck. It's pretty simple:
— Ellie A (@EllieGAnders) December 21, 2025
Americans' cratering trust in media is a result of media being untrustworthy.
If your girlfriend cheats on you over and over, you're not going to trust her. Media lied to us over and over, therefore we do not trust them.
We’ve walked away from an abusive relationship with the legacy media, and we’re never taking them back.
Commenters find it interesting that Todd blames social media companies for the problems of his own dying industry.
The Media turning on Big Tech is a fun plot twist after watching them work together for years to censor politically inconvenient stories.
— IT Guy (@ITGuy1959) December 21, 2025
By “algorithm” Chuck means “𝕏 has provided a platform to debunk our lies and it didn’t used to be this way."
— Western Lensman (@WesternLensman) December 21, 2025
The machine is cracking.
— ConfirmBias (@Fulcrumbs44) December 21, 2025
They are failing to understand that we are the media now.'
Every false claim is debunked in real time.
Freedom of the Press is a right all Americans have. Social media has made it easier for almost all Americans to fully exercise that right. ‘Journalists’ are exposed and get called on their lies in seconds.
Todd will never admit the truth about the legacy media’s fall.
“Don’t look at me, I’m definitely not the problem, even though I’m a political hack shill”
— Lakius Maximus (@LakiusMaximus) December 21, 2025
They’re so clueless. Keep talking, though!
He is least introspective man in the news business.
— Breaking Battlegrounds (@Breaking_Battle) December 21, 2025
‘Journalists’ struggle with introspection. They can’t look inward, which explains why they never learn and keep searching outside themselves for their own failings. The reason no one trusts the legacy media is all the lying, Chuck.
