The New York Times has found the real victims of the recent attack on two National Guardsmen - it's Afghan refugees. In pure ‘journalistic’ fashion, the East Coast rag has turned Trump’s laser focus on unvetted Afghan refugees and the danger any number of them pose to Americans into a ‘Republicans pounce’ moment.

They do it with EVERY story. Either him, the GOP, or both.
— Eddie from Acworth (@eddyfromacworth) November 28, 2025
Yes a "Trump pounces" headline, and NYT added the hoary phrase "without providing evidence".
— jprokc (@jprokc) November 28, 2025
‘Claims, without evidence’ is redundant, and any non-partisan editor would fix it. But ‘journalists’ have added ‘without evidence’ to every Trump utterance for ten years anyway, and their editors have given it a pass for obvious reasons.
Commenters say the legacy media have already settled on a fake narrative, as if by design.

Wasn’t so long ago that nonsense like this would actually fly, back when there were basically no alternative news sources.
— Texas Boomer (@TheTexasBoomer) November 28, 2025
Makes me wonder if anything we were told pre-social media by the legacy news sources was unadulterated.
I’m betting it was all scripted, every little bit.
Yesterday’s democrat memo !!

It’s weird how the legacy media and the Democrat Party’s fake narratives always mirror each other.
Posters say The New York Times demands evidence but doesn’t bother to Google it like the rest of us easily do.
"A lot of problems with Afghans" but no evidence?

Hmmm
Willful blindness by the NYT pic.twitter.com/WyFlCTcqHD
No evidence whatsoever (that we will tell you)

They did the meme!
Commenters say nothing from the legacy media surprises them, as these outlets have become so predictable.
We all knew it was coming, they are like a broken record
— ThēPrìcklyThìstle (@TheeThistle) November 28, 2025
Legacy Media™️ is painfully predictable, it’s beyond exhausting.
— Texas Boomer (@TheTexasBoomer) November 28, 2025
They want zero deportations, and the narratives will be set to that end.
— Western Lensman (@WesternLensman) November 28, 2025
It always comes down to Democrats keeping people in our country who don’t belong here. Every single time.
