Leave it to Republican commentator Scott Jennings to point out the utter ridiculousness of the Democrat duo of Chris Cillizza and Chuck Todd. Both are clutching their pearls over President Donald Trump’s Memorial Day post (see below). ‘Trump is sooooo divisive! Reeeee!!!!’ Not an exact quote, but pretty close. Jennings correctly points out that ‘journalists’ and their fellow Democrats always act like history didn’t exist until Trump took office. To this point, Dem 'journalists' like Cillizza and Todd were expectedly silent when President Joe Biden was being truly divisive.

“He intentionally doesn't want to govern for half the country. This should be disqualifying, right? The American president shouldn't be this divisive, intentionally divisive. We've had divisive figures, but he goes out of his way. He wants to be divisive. He doesn't even want to try to bring the country together. He wants this.” -- @chucktodd on Donald Trump's Memorial Day Truth Social post

We didn’t detect any lies in Trump’s post. Just a recap of Biden’s genuinely divisive time in office when he was purposely flooding America with the Democrat Party’s beloved illegal aliens.
As we all remember, Biden was the divider-in-chief despite running on the promise of being a uniter.
So I am the only one that remembers Biden with the blood red background, warning about how evil his political opponents and all of MAGA were?

He ran on unity or at least that’s what the teleprompter said

Bid÷n called half the country garbage

Who can forget Biden the Uniter calling Trump voters 'garbage' as Election Day 2024 quickly approached - a divider to the very end. ‘Journalists’ rushed to tell us we didn't hear what he clearly said. So predictable.
Commenters fondly recall Trump turning Biden’s ‘garbage’ name-calling to his advantage.

Thank God, I was worried the media had covered up the open lambasting of half the nation by a corpse for four years.
— Tony Kinnett (@TheTonus) May 27, 2025
They tried but failed. Now they’re saying that Trump telling the truth is ‘divisive.’
Posters know Cillizza too well. He misses the point like he always does, and commenters set him straight, but he never learns.
No worries. Cillizza will be along soon to let us all know that it wasn't divisive, and even if it was it wasn't what Biden meant, and if it was what he meant he was only talking about a very small portion of the public.
— br0therj0e (@br0therj0e) May 27, 2025
No one -- not me and not Chuck -- is saying that.
— Chris Cillizza (@ChrisCillizza) May 27, 2025
But Biden being divisive doesn't mean Trump can't be too! https://t.co/A6goQTc7JK
Logically it doesn’t. But you don’t get to call out division when you lied to keep a stage iv demented cancer patient as potus and said nothing as he arrested his main political opponent , raided his home and called half the country extremist maga republicans who are a threat.
— HumanWisdomIsFolly ☕️ (@Wisdomisfolly82) May 27, 2025
The point is that you and Chuck never said anything when Biden was divisive.
— Mark Delbridge 🇺🇲🏴☠️ (@DelbridgeMark1) May 27, 2025
Rightly or wrongly you both have no issue with calling out Trump but didn’t apply that to Biden.
