I’m still trying to figure out what great sin our nation committed that Democrat Minnesota Governor Tim Walz has been foisted upon us. I, like many, assumed that his co-defeat in 2024 with Kamala Harris meant we would never hear from him again in national politics. I expected he would prance his way back to the Land of 10,000 Lakes and stay there.
No, we are not so lucky. Someone has convinced this fool that he has a chance at winning the Democrat Party presidential nomination in 2028. He's claiming he's doing this for the Dem Party. I don't believe him. An eye on the White House is the only logical reason he’s decided to tour GOP district town halls.

Walz is starting this Friday in Iowa, Rep. Zach Nunn's district.
Then, Rep. Don Bacon's district in Nebraska.
WALZ: “There was just a primal scream of folks recognizing what’s going on with the Trump administration, their authoritarian tendencies, and what they viewed was a lack of a proper response from their representatives."

I’m interested in seeing what policies and arguments Walz is going to use to sway Republicans to start voting Democrat. Will it be his party’s pro-illegal alien policies or will it be his party’s full embrace of transgender insanity?

Many of the ‘Republican’ town halls were filled with Democrat plants sent to create scenes for the media to be used as proof MAGA voters were turning on Trump.
Trump voters are usually too busy to waste time on a Democrat Party stunt like this. This could be a huge bust for Walz.

I’m not sure Republicans will show up for these town halls. There’s no indication admittance will be restricted in any way. We could likely get an entire town hall of Democrats pretending to be Republicans to make Walz look good and push fake narratives. It would be hilarious though if MAGA showed up in full force and had him defend all the Democrat Party’s out-of-touch policies on camera. I'd like to see that.
