‘Journalists’ and their fellow Democrats have let the American people know they’re not even in the top two groups of people they care about. Number one is criminal illegal aliens, of course. I’m not one, so no love for me. In the number two spot is federal employees. I’m not one of those either.
I’ve lost count of the number of ‘news’ stories I’ve seen about the plight of federal workers losing their jobs because of DOGE. I’ve lost jobs in the past. No camera crews showed up as I left the building. No Democrats rallied for me on TV. I got over it and found another job. Same as you.
That brings us to this huge ‘news’ story today where weepy fired federal government workers headed to the Senate to ‘tell their stories.’ It’s okay to roll your eyes, I did. One of the employees sees herself as a sacrificing hero for taking a federal job. Stunning and brave! She’s a patriot, too. I think I sprained my eyes after my second eye roll.

People get fired every day. Corporations do mass layoffs. It’s rare to even hear a peep from the media which is now swarming Washington, D.C. to capture every dripping tear on video.

These sob story videos have the opposite effect than the ‘journalists’ and the Democrats intend. They only highlight how Democrats ignore the rest of us when we lose our jobs. Posters agree.

job loss due to restructuring (or outsourcing) has been a fairly common occurrence in the private sector for generations and nobody ever spotlighted us crying about it, even though we did cry about it.

We lost our jobs with dignity and didn't put on a tear-drenched, self-important show for cameras. Thankfully, we didn't become props in a political struggle. So Dems, please cease with the sobbing federal workers' stories. We've seen enough.
