After, the horrific aftermath of the recent Dallas police shootings Texas Governor Greg Abbot has proposed a new law called the Police Protection Act to help protect our law enforcement.
The proposal would extend hate crime protection to the police, create a campaign to show Texan children the value of police, and increase criminal penalties for crimes that involve the police as a victim.
Many really like the idea of this proposal:
