She Had Down Syndrome And Couldn't Read...Now She's A High School Graduate

Madison Essig was told she’d never be able to read.

Now she is the first student with down syndrome to graduate from Woodrow Wilson High School.

Essig graduated alongside her brother, and hopes to earn a four-year college degree and be an advocate for people with disabilities.
