Wynonna Judd assails Wendy Williams over her 'rotten' comment against sister Ashley [video]

Whatever you might think of Ashley Judd and the Senate run that wasn’t, it’s pretty clear how protective her family is, as her sister and country music singer Wynonna has taken to Twitter to bludgeon talk show host Wendy Williams over a pretty “rotten” comment she made:

@WendyWilliams As a sister, I am deeply offended by your words about my sister. I will never do your show again. #offended

— Wynonna (@Wynonna) October 23, 2013

@WendyWilliams It's 1 thing to talk trash about me….You talk about my sister…….#twofaced

— Wynonna (@Wynonna) October 23, 2013

@WendyWilliams You owe @ashleyjudd an apology.

— Wynonna (@Wynonna) October 23, 2013

@WendyWilliams said @AshleyJudd is "kinda rotten down there" just because she is 45 yrs old. I HAVE RESPONDED #unacceptable

— Wynonna (@Wynonna) October 23, 2013

Wynonna then retweeted this pretty descriptive tweet from a fan:

People say this crap & get away with it. It hurts. We are human, not robots. If you talk trash about my family I am going to feel like

Yikes! Thankfully, so far this Twitter thermonuclear war is strictly one-sided. Wendy Williams is too busy covering much more important developments in the news:

After a #DNA test, it turns out that Pauly D. IS THE FATHER! Find out how @DJPaulyD met his daughter's mother! VIDEO: http://t.co/XNqI2p0JWu

(Her “rotten” comments begin at about the 9:45 mark.)

We’ll keep an eye out for any further fireworks.
