Back in August of 2021, CNN's Brianna Keilar did something genuinely impressive: she got tough with someone in the Biden administration. In this particular case, it was White House Communications Director Kate Bedingfield, and it was regarding Biden's impending Afghanistan withdrawal disaster:
What you are not saying — I'm hearing in there that you're prepared to leave people behind [in Afghanistan]@WHCommsDir: We're doing everything we can to get as many people out who want to get out before the August 31st deadline. pic.twitter.com/Gtfze5sYt0

It shouldn't've been remarkable, because it's ostensibly a journalist's job to press government officials on important issues. But this was CNN we were dealing with, so the bar was low.
And it just got even lower.
Because Kate Bedingfield has made the all-too-familiar move — the same one made by former Obama administration appointee Jim Sciutto, among others — from a Democratic White House to the hallowed halls of CNN:

Welp, at least she doesn't have to worry about the remote possibility of ever being in the CNN hot seat again.

MSNBC landing former White House press secretary Jen Psaki and sending Karine Jean-Pierre to replace her was a pretty major deal. CNN was probably envious and wanted a similar coup. Maybe they'll let Biden have Jim Acosta, just to keep things even!
Lol

You kind of have to laugh, don't you? It's just so stupid and shameless.
Finally balancing out the CNN lineup.

I see that CNN "rebranding" into a "facts first" network goes on swimmingly.

As swimmingly as a sack of wet cement.
In case anyone is still confused that they’re listening to nothing but the government’s propaganda on that channel.

Nonsense! CNN is a mainstream, nonpartisan media outlet! Just ask mainstream, nonpartisan media outlet Politico:

Perfect.
A Biden insider. Just what they need at CNN. Do they ever hire any Conservatives"
— Deirdre Robinson (@DeirdreDrdr) July 21, 2023
Well, they did hire Mary Katharine Ham at one point ... before subsequently stealth-suspending her for tweeting about Zoom-sturbating legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin. Does that count as hiring conservatives?
Needless to say:
LOOKING FORWARD TO MORE OBJECTIVE NEWS!
