AOC uses Canadian wildfires crapping up our East Coast air to push for her authoritarian Green New Deal

In case you hadn’t heard, the East Coast is currently under a haze of smoke thanks to wildfires raging in Canada.

More from CNN:

As an orange haze of wildfire smoke from Canada smothers parts of the eastern US, officials are warning residents in both countries of unhealthy or hazardous air Wednesday.

More than 55 million people in the eastern US are under air quality alerts due to the smoke. The heaviest smoke is forecast to impact the Northeast through the Mid-Atlantic and down to the Carolinas, and smoke conditions in those regions could last through at least Thursday.

While New York City, Philadelphia and Washington, DC, are expected to see their air quality improve throughout the day, the air over Boston, Pittsburgh and Raleigh, North Carolina, is expected to get worse Wednesday.

New York City had the worst air pollution of any major city in the world at one point Tuesday night, before dropping to second-worst behind New Delhi, India, according to air quality tracker IQair.

Wildfires in Canada choking the East Coast? There can only be one possible explanation:

Climate change! Because of course!

For what it’s worth, Bernie was beaten to the blame-climate-change punch by over 12 hours by AOC. Because of course!

“We must adapt our food systems, energy grids, infrastructure, healthcare, etc. ASAP to prepare for what’s to come and catch up to what is already here.”

As it happens, what is already here is not climate change, but … arson. Quite a bit of arson, actually:

That article is from May 2023. It seems that in August and September of 2022, there was a series of wildfires in Alberta that were determined to have been started intentionally. Wildfires in April 2023 were also ruled to be the result of arson. This is apparently a thing in Canada:

Given how quickly AOC was to pounce and seize on the current Canadian wildfires as an opportunity to try to sell Americans on her authoritarian garbage Green New Deal, let’s just say I wouldn’t be surprised if she got desperate enough one of these days to start setting fires herself. Based on her personality, that definitely seems like something she’d do, doesn’t it? She’s messy AF.

Anyway, I’ll leave you with this thought, because it’s just really appropriate when it comes to anyone who tries to lecture us on our alleged crimes against the climate:

Straight into our veins. Hey, might as well. It’s already in our air.
