Bill Kristol thinks 'it's pretty clear' that leaked internal SCOTUS info came 'from the Thomas-Alito camp'

So far, we still don’t know who’s behind the leak of Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito’s draft opinion, the one that could signal a ruling that would effectively overturn Roe v. Wade and give power over abortion legislation to the states.

But then, we’re not as brilliant and insightful as The Bulwark’s Bill Kristol, who has been reading between the lines and thinks he’s figured out exactly what’s going on here:

It’s become pretty clear, has it, Bill? To whom, exactly?

If it’s credibility you’re after, Bill Kristol should not be the first guy you look to. He shouldn’t even be the thousandth guy you look to.

We suppose that technically, anything is possible. We would, however, like to see what evidence Bill has that would support a claim like that, because it does seem a little farfetched. Particularly when you consider what, say, Justice Alito has had to deal with since the leak.

Why does Bill Kristol seem to be so determined to impugn Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito’s integrity rather than acknowledge that those Justices have very little to gain by putting their own lives and the lives of their families at risk?

If the tinfoil hat fits …
