GOP Rep. Burgess Owens' lighthearted tweet about flawed logic in comparing voter ID laws to Jim Crow laws offends anti-racist types

Earlier this week, Utah GOP Rep. Burgess Owens blasted disingenuous politicians like Georgia Democratic Sen. Raphael Warnock who have shamefully likened voter ID laws to Jim Crow laws:

Owens was absolutely right to be disgusted. But just because he’s disgusted by the “Jim Crow” narrative doesn’t mean he can’t also be mildly amused by its utter asininity:

What a time to be alive, when voter ID laws are racist, but calling a black Republican a race traitor is just fine.
