GOP Rep. Burgess Owens' lighthearted tweet about flawed logic in comparing voter ID laws to Jim Crow laws offends anti-racist types

Owens was absolutely right to be disgusted. But just because he’s disgusted by the “Jim Crow” narrative doesn’t mean he can’t also be mildly amused by its utter asininity:

My parents lives sure would have been a lot easier if Jim Crow laws just meant they had to show ID to vote.
