Peter Daou used to be Team Hillary all the way. He was her biggest cheerleader. But after she lost, he had to find a new star to which he could hitch his wagon.
He settled on Bernie Sanders and is now a full-fledged Bernie Bro.
And he’s got something to say to any Democrat who hasn’t jumped aboard the Bernie Train:
IF
If you want to defeat Trump and you're fighting to stop #Bernie.
If you're in the party leadership and fighting to stop Bernie.
If you're a mainstream pundit and fighting to stop Bernie…
You're out of step with the majority of Democratic voters. https://t.co/reR7o4ae2t

Is that so?
34% is now a “majority?”
— Jon “Bowzer” Bauman (@JonBowzerBauman) February 28, 2020
I did the math in my head but it appears in that poll that the 64% who don’t choose Bernie is the majority. 34% is not.

34% doesn’t seem like a majority to me.

It's that fuzzy Sanders math Jane used to run a college into the ground.
— Jay Kay (@jaykayokay2020) February 28, 2020
Thinking 34% is a majority might go a long way to explaining why Bernie supporters can't see the issues with how he plans to fund all his policies.

Seriously. Bernie Sanders doesn’t understand mathematical fundamentals … it’s hardly fair to expect his supporters to.
"Plurality" for the super literal.
The point stands: Democratic voters believe #BernieBeatsTrump more than any other candidate.
We're at the point where bashing Sanders is defying the will of millions of Dem voters.
— Peter Daou (@peterdaou) February 28, 2020
Majority, plurality … potato, potahto. The point is that if you’re a Democrat who doesn’t support Bernie, you might as well not be a Democrat because Bernie’s in charge now.
And you can factor in that #Bernie is the second choice leader among Dems, with the highest favorability.
— Peter Daou (@peterdaou) February 28, 2020
OK, Peter.
Can one person be as wrong as Daou continually is?
— Joe Albanese (@JoeAlbanese15) February 28, 2020
AOC gives him a run for his money, but Daou’s tough to top.
