Critics like to say that Joe Biden is inching ever closer to completely losing it, but that seems unfair to Bernie Sanders, who also appears to be suffering from delusions.
Sanders recently told a group of voters in Reno, Nevada, that marching to the polls to vote for him is basically just as significant as marching to the polls to vote for Nelson Mandela or marching for the Civil Rights Movement.
We wish we were joking:

They could be twins!
If I squint my eyes to the point of closing them I can totally see the resemblance.

Heh.
Bernie Sanders comparing a vote for him as a vote for Nelson Mandela is just proof that he is actually dead and is being run with strings by his surrogates
— Jay Malak (@KobbeMalak) February 19, 2020
That would certainly be one explanation. The other would be that he’s just straight-up insane.
Honestly, given his frontrunner status, neither explanation is particularly reassuring.
