Whether or not you’ve been following the impeachment hearings, it’s probably pretty safe to say that if your mind’s already made up, nothing you hear will change it. People generally seek out things that align with the narrative they want to believe. That’s confirmation bias, and it affects pretty much everyone at some point.
But CNN’s Oliver Darcy seems to think it’s only an issue for consumers of “right-wing media”:
Most right-wing media websites are covering the impeachment hearings by hyping clips from GOP stars like Jim Jordan and Devin Nunes. Which is to say that those who only consume such media will probably walk away from this more convinced than ever Trump did nothing wrong.

Well, yeah. And that’s worse that how most left-wing media websites are covering it because … ?

And this isn't happening on the left? Wow. How interesting. Unheard of. What a take.

Hey, now do the left wing media and their bias. See, we can all play this game.

And left wing media is doing the same thing in the other direction https://t.co/doaBaSk3qu

And exactly the same thing is happening on the left-leaning sites. Neither side is going to change their minds.

Wait are you providing clips from Republicans too? My bad. I assumed @CNN wouldn’t use clips from both sides and give anyone an objective view. Good thing most of us right wingers don’t trust the news and are watching it for ourselves.
