You might want to sit down for this one … but as it turns out, media firefighters weren’t nearly as interested in the rapid unraveling of the New York Times and Robin Pogrebin and Kate Kelly’s Brett Kavanaugh bombshell as the rest of us were. Newbusters’ Curtis Houck examined the major broadcast networks’ coverage of the debacle and found some interesting things:

I found that, over the last three days of Kavanaugh coverage, there's only been 36 seconds (all during the @CBSEveningNews thanks to @JanCBS and @NorahODonnell) alluding to Leland Keyser's admission that she doesn't believe Ford's story pic.twitter.com/SJ46Elo2fZ

Go figure.
This is how the major media treated the actual news from the NYT Kavanaugh book —> https://t.co/vitthxK5FZ

"Why do you think the media is extremely biased?"
— Caleb Hull (@CalebJHull) September 18, 2019
It really is difficult to understand why the media have lost so much respect.
Maybe if the media didnt want to be seen as political arms of activism, they shouldnt act like it https://t.co/XwvGNwG099

Hey, now. That’s crazy talk.
How do establishment media people even live with themselves? Seriously. They KNOW they are biased, and that they choose stories based on those biases… and they think it's okay. They really do. I couldn't live w/myself if I had so little intellectual/professional integrity.
