America’s favorite “conservative blogger” is at it again.
Earlier today, Jennifer Rubin pimped a piece by Washington Post contributing columnist Robert Kagan arguing that in the fight between Donald Trump and the Squad, we must side with the Squad. Naturally, severely conservative Rubin agrees, pulling this choice quote for extra oomph:
Either stand with American principles, which in this case means standing in defense of the Squad, or equivocate, which means standing with Trump and white nationalism. <<— THIS https://t.co/VSfqkuMfTy

Did fighting for America’s principles become a zero-sum game and nobody told us?

Nothing says conservative values like supporting socialists who have had their feelings hurt.
— John Johns (@necessarilywoke) July 17, 2019
Yes, because supporting anti-Semites is a great way to pushback on white nationalism.

Because if you don't share their socialist despotic big government world-view you are a racist. https://t.co/ifyYHtLtgW

Kagan — and by extension, Rubin — also insists that “our nation won’t be undermined by anything the Squad has said or done.” Really? Having been subjected to their unhinged and frankly anti-American ravings for some time now, we’d beg to differ.
Defending socialism is so conservative.

"The Squad" is not about American principles, it is about destroying them.
— Nickarama (@Nickarama1) July 17, 2019
Rubin and Kagan are free to stand “in defense of the Squad.” We’re free to reject their false choice.
The squad is all yours, enjoy.

Or you can be an adult and say what Trump said was 100% stupid and also tell the “Squad” they’re awful too.
— Steve (@sfsmith1001) July 17, 2019
I reject this. I'm not a nationalist and I won't stand with a "squad" of people who not only are anti-Semites, but have put a target on ICE and CBP agents back. https://t.co/mXkmvZIKHm

Sorry, but no.
I don't stand with anti-semites
— Silence Dogood (@YesImSatan1) July 17, 2019
So stand in defense of people who will not denounce the terrorist attack on a ICE facility or Anti-Semitic remarks from two of the members of The Squad? You actually are asking people to choose between these two groups Jennifer? How about choice three, neither…

No. I will NOT stand with a pack of anti-Semites. I called out Trump and I will call them out too.
