For the children? This Colo. Dem Senate hopeful apparently missed STEM School Highlands Ranch students' memo [video]

Dan Baer is a Colorado Democrat hoping to unseat GOP Sen. Cory Gardner next year. It seems he’s decided to make gun control a central part of his winning platform:

This has to stop. While Cory Gardner chooses inaction in the face of a gun violence epidemic, CO suffered through lockdowns and another student killed last week. Enough. Let's stand up to Gardner, the NRA, and those who do nothing to stop this cycle of violence. #COsen pic.twitter.com/1Oyq6YKDii

Last week, students from STEM School Highlands Ranch walked out of what they were led to believe was a vigil for victims of the deadly shooting, upset that gun control advocates were politicizing their grief to push an agenda. Nice to see that a U.S. Senate candidate is respecting their wishes.

This Colorado Senate candidate is running ads invoking the STEM shooting in Colorado to attack Cory Gardner even after the students at the school made a very public statement that they don't want their shooting politicized. https://t.co/gOqntuonZX #COpolitics https://t.co/367sYENvmT

Feels like you missed this Dan. OR you're well aware and decided to ignore the wishes of the students who went through this horrible ordeal. https://t.co/gOqntuonZX

Just quit it! Do not use this tragic event for political gain. You don’t know what you are talking about.
