Well, we’ll say this much for Kamala Harris: she’s got nerve.
As Twitchy told you yesterday, the aspiring POTUS claimed that she didn’t really mean that she wanted to eliminate private health insurance when she said she wanted to eliminate private health insurance. Apparently she also didn’t support the consequences of her own truancy initiative, either:

No kidding. How is this any different from when Donald Trump backflips and tries to rewrite his own history? Maybe the main reason so many Democrats loathe Trump is that he’s basically a mirror for their own flaws.
I'm not trying to be pedantic, but I can't imagine the state AG had any role in enforcing the truancy law. In that scenario, she might as well have been Lt Gov or Secretary of State…a statewide elected advocating for a law that she had no ultimate responsibility for.

But she writes in her latest book that one of the main reasons she *ran for attorney general* was explicitly to take the truancy law she pushed in SF statewide. It's not like this was just some law on the books

And this wasn't just a law she was like, Yeah, sounds good. She made this a cornerstone of her campaign for AG but is now trying to say that when the explicitly stated consequences of her pet law happened, that wasn't on her.
