You won’t hear us praising CNN for much these days, but today, they did something right. While the Washington Post tripped all over themselves to defend Rashida Tlaib’s shameful, historically illiterate remarks about the Holocaust and Israel, CNN’s John King led a discussion about Tlaib’s shameful revisionism:
CNN Fact Checks Dem Rep. Rashida Tlaib’s Comments On Israel
John King: Tlaib "ignored the fact that Palestinian leaders at the time allied themselves with Hitler and that total war is how the Arab world reacted to the declaration of Israeli independence." pic.twitter.com/mvSa7gTn4P

It’s sad that we have to make a big deal out of a media outlet fact checking a Democratic politician’s blatant lie, but here we are. Guess we just have to take it where we can get it.
Good fact check by @cnn and @JohnKingCNN https://t.co/3OMmhkC95U

Even @CNN recognizes @RashidaTlaib’s comments on Israel are insane. Palestinians coordinated with Hitler to exterminate Jews. Rashida’s lies don’t change the facts. She knows this. This is just more evidence of anti-Semitism within the Democratic Party. pic.twitter.com/Uiwv8Bpw9j

Good for CNN. It really isn’t that hard to provide facts and proper context.
Maybe the Washington Post can take some notes. https://t.co/gdnnVFyxbK

Fat chance of that … the Washington Post has apparently chosen sides and is digging in their heels. But there may still be hope, if only a glimmer, for CNN.
John King's exasperation here at Tlaib–"Why?"–is all of us. A credit to CNN. Thank you for allowing us to be human. https://t.co/mB3WSUUj6r

We just hope John King and CNN are prepared for what may come next:
CNN inciting violence. https://t.co/vWsE3jrb9L
