'You had one job'! UK Labour Party's Passover message suggests their Jewish outreach still needs some work [screenshots]

It’s no secret that the UK Labour Party has some issues when it comes to Jewish outreach. This should definitely help with that:

The British Labour party, which has been wracked by anti-Semitism scandals for years, tweeted a Passover greeting—featuring bread. They had to correct it. You cannot make this up. pic.twitter.com/K7ExQakMwY

They put a loaf of bread on a Passover greeting. A loaf of bread! They have since deleted and reposted but still…

Talk about tone-deaf.

And it wasn’t even a difficult job!

I genuinely think they took this from a stock communion image and added the star.

Don’t be surprised if that’s exactly what happened. At the very least, it seems pretty safe to say that they didn’t put much thought into it.

LOL more like a taunt than well-wishes. https://t.co/6qZyIOqk2m

I think @LahavHarkov had the best take on this: it's "the Pesach graphic you get when all the Jews leave your party" https://t.co/zljNjVZQVQ

Heh.

To be clear, this is obviously not anti-Semitic. It's just entirely predictable and utterly hilarious. https://t.co/zljNjVZQVQ

In any event, we can’t wait to see what the Labour Party comes up with next!

So this is fairly hilarious. They should send out the next one hoping everyone enjoys they pork-fried rice w lobster tail..

Personally, I am looking forward to the Labour party's Yom Kippur event, featuring a donut bar. https://t.co/zljNjVZQVQ
