The SAO essentially let Jussie Smollett skate, even they couldn’t deny that there was ample evidence that his “hate crime” was a hoax. Nevertheless, there are still some loyal fans out there who are apparently determined to stick by him no matter what.
The Washington Free Beacon’s Alex Griswold found a few of them. These folks are convinced that reports showing that the Chicago PD put the Osundairo brothers in a hotel and paid for their food and security prove that Smollett is the real victim after all:
