In case you missed it, retired NASA astronaut Mark Kelly — aka Mr. Gabby Giffords — has announced his U.S. Senate candidacy:

Hey, if he wants to run for Senate, that’s his prerogative. But those who plan on voting for him should be warned: He comes with a bit of baggage. As tweeter Jerry Dunleavy points out, Kelly’s been quite cozy with none other than anti-Semitic bigot and terrorist sympathizer Ilhan Omar:
Newly-announced Senate candidate Mark Kelly (@ShuttleCDRKelly) endorsed @IlhanMN for Congress in 2018 but (as far as I can tell) hasn’t spoken up about her anti-Semitism yet. Will journalists ask him his thoughts on this? https://t.co/WWs7Ud0h9t

Huh.
Oh , good, another reason not to vote for Mark Kelly. https://t.co/4XD0SrLC8b

Dunleavy also tweeted this flashback:

We haven’t heard him address it, either. But we probably shouldn’t expect journalists to confront him about it.
