Virginia Democratic House Delegate Kathy Tran may be a garbage person, but we’ve still gotta give her her props. Because in addition to shining a blinding spotlight on the Left’s growing pro-abort radicalism, she’s also turning out to have been the straw that broke the Virginia Democratic camel’s back:
Never forget: none of this would be happening in Virginia right now if Kathy Tran hadn't introduced a bill to legalize abortion all the way up until birth. A bill that was going nowhere in the statehouse. That's what made Northam's med-school classmate drop the dime on him.

Let’s hear it for Kathy Tran!
A weird number of people seem to think that this means I'm "blaming" Kathy Tran for the sins of Gov/Lt.Gov/AG. Of course I'm not. (I do blame her for a terrible bill, but that's a different matter.)
It's the Law of Unintended Consequences that fascinates me so much here.

It really is incredible to watch.
I mean, who on earth could have predicted that a show-bill (not meant to pass, even!) could indirectly lead to the entire elected executive leadership of the VA Democratic party embroiled in totally unrelated scandals?

Hey, we’re not complaining. We’re actually kind of in awe.

Kathy Tran's desire to murder newborn babies has now decapitated the entirety of Virginia's Democrat leadership.

Now, it remains to be seen whether Ralph Northam, Justin Fairfax, and Mark Herring will actually have to suffer any consequences for their actions. But as far as their reputations are concerned, at least, the damage is irrevocable. And Virginia Democrats should be very, very worried right now.
The Democratic Party in Virginia has imploded. This will affect not just the party and its electoral chances, but has put the state government in crisis. And no one knows what happens next.

And maybe some chocolates or something.
So where do we send the “thank you” notes?
