'What the absolute f*ck?' Check out this assignment for students at high school near Parkland shooting site [pic]

Looking for some Friday fresh hell? This ought to fit the bill:

“Does Nikolas Cruz Deserve to Die?”

Today 9th graders at a school just 10 minutes from the Stoneman Douglas shooting were given this assignment.

Crazy idea, don’t give kids assignments on the shooter that killed their friends? pic.twitter.com/eq146gUYJc

This was sent by a parent of a student from Coral Glades High School.

Who thought that was a good idea? Who thought that was remotely OK?

Despicable. https://t.co/edhqYsCU6o

This is absolutely despicable.

Broward schools is now giving assignments to students on the shooter that murdered my daughter and 16 others.

— Bruce Mirken (@BruceMirken) December 7, 2018

That teacher deserves a high five. In the face. With a brick. It's been less than a YEAR since the shooting. Debate on the morality of the death penalty aside, putting this question to 14yo is just sick. Talk about rubbing salt in an open wound.

WTF, it's like we've all been subjected so long to click bait headlines that classroom assignments need them too?
