You’ll no doubt be shocked to learn that MSNBC’s Ali Velshi is a huge fan of Jim Acosta’s body of work. After Acosta beclowned himself once again at today’s White House press conference, Velshi had only kind words for his brother-in-arms:
I worked with Jim @Acosta during my years @CNN. He’s dogged and determined and a credit to his profession. His job is to hold power to account, not to be “nice” to the President or anyone else he covers.

But it looks like Fox News’ Chris Wallace won’t be invited to the next meeting of the Jim Acosta Admiration Society:
On Fox News, Chris Wallace says "I thought Acosta's behavior was shameful."

Wallace, continued: "Most of the people there were serious reporters asking serious questions, but Jim Acosta, I thought, embarrassed himself today."

I agree. There’s a reason the White House Press Corp don’t all jump to his defense.
