You knew this take was coming. Oliver Willis just can’t help himself.
Still, though, even though it was expected, it manages to be appalling in its malicious and willful ignorance:
its hard to impossible for conservatives to just say: fellow conservatives/republicans, stop being violent. period. instead, they have to fill their stories with nonsense about dems, none of whom have called for violence. none.
— Oliver Willis (@owillis) October 26, 2018
Wow.
"…dems, none of whom have called for violence. none."
Well. Okay then. You're obviously a well-grounded, entirely reasonable person, someone with whom one can have a rational conversation.
— Jonathon Bravo (@jwtaylor36) October 26, 2018
Obviously.
1) I have done just that.
2) We go live for comment to Steve Scalise….
3) STOP TRYING TO SCORE POLITICAL POINTS ON EVERYTHING YOU MONSTER.— Remember Scalia (@469Matt) October 26, 2018
kick'em, get in their face, confront them in their homes.
Shoot them on baseball fields, firebomb their offices, smash their windows, spit on them, and accuse them of sexual assault – preferably without evidence.
— RIP Star Wars (@RIP_SW) October 26, 2018
NONE?! You clearly haven't been paying attention. Ever heard of Maxine Waters?
— woohooPhilly (@woohooPhilly) October 26, 2018
This is false on so many levels. https://t.co/VZ2HEYruA4
— Alyssa E. Hackbarth (@AlyssaEinDC) October 26, 2018
But wait … there’s more:
theres only one side where the leaders are pushing violent extremism. https://t.co/xuBrv0IHUS
— Oliver Willis (@owillis) October 26, 2018
This is a blatant outright lie. Period. Stop it. https://t.co/DzqhuxuU9h
— ConservativeBlackMan ???? (@NevilleD35) October 26, 2018
Damn right it’s a lie.
A Bernie supporter tried to assassinate numerous Republicans a week after Bernie called Republicans un-American and enemies.
You can delude yourself with your biases as you wish…
— Pradheep J. Shanker, M.D., M.S. (@Neoavatara) October 26, 2018
Bernie never called for violence, never said "knock the hell out of" republicans. Trump did, and has. You can continue to delude and lie about both sides, it doesn't change reality.
— Oliver Willis (@owillis) October 26, 2018
Progressives routinely call Republicans Nazis and say they are killing people.
What do you think leftists wackadoodles think they should do in response?
— Pradheep J. Shanker, M.D., M.S. (@Neoavatara) October 26, 2018
show me the liberal officials and leaders doing this – in the way trump, gop congressmen, fox news, etc do. you can't because it doesn't exist. but you assert that it does so you can avoid calling out your movement's unique extremes.
— Oliver Willis (@owillis) October 26, 2018
Trump is worse.
Doesn't change the fact there has always been a left wing violent streak
The two are not mutually exclusive. I know your lack of logical thought prevents you from understanding this.
— Pradheep J. Shanker, M.D., M.S. (@Neoavatara) October 26, 2018
you can't even end at "trump is worse." you have to invoke a mythical liberal equivalent. there is no liberal equivalent. yes, people on the left have been violent, but there's no trump or limbaugh pushing it over here.
— Oliver Willis (@owillis) October 26, 2018
Again, your failure at logic is epic.
— Pradheep J. Shanker, M.D., M.S. (@Neoavatara) October 26, 2018
A leftist tried assassination of dozens of Republicans last year… That is actually a bad or worse than this.
But you can't admit that.
— Pradheep J. Shanker, M.D., M.S. (@Neoavatara) October 26, 2018
Admitting that would require intellectual honesty. And Oliver Willis doesn’t have any. We’re not sure he ever did.
Again… Fun to watch the ignorance of progressives on the violent rhetoric that also exists on their side.
Until both sides accept this… Nothing will improve. They are part of the problem too. https://t.co/Zsq2tLH3ts

Bingo.
