'What is this, seriously?' CNN analyst Susan Hennessey defends below-the-belt swipe at Ted Cruz

Apparently hot takes like this will get you a sweet gig as a natsec and legal analyst at CNN:

Screen shooting this & deleting to avoid silly false outrage mob RTs. Those pretending to be mortally offended, sorry but not taking the bait. Ted Cruz is nearly universally disliked including by his own colleagues; his wife seems kind of cool & great. That strikes me as funny. pic.twitter.com/21VJ7DMyXm

Nice cover story there, Susan Hennessey. But the pushback you’ve been getting isn’t on the “silly false outrage mob”; it’s on you.

CNN hack using the "M-word here" after embarrassing herself. https://t.co/w3pYfHPYoG

Hennessey’s tweet was lame and juvenile. Which is exactly the sort of thing you’d expect from someone who is herself lame and juvenile.

This Tweet is very junior high school.

Could you be any more immature? pic.twitter.com/F07b43Oqu3

This says more about you than it does about him

This remains a cruel and uncharitable thing to say. If you must think it, you should avoid saying it publicly. Both the initial tweet and this one reflect extremely poorly on you.

Wow, your comment shows what a petty person you are. Sad.

You were called out. Own it, B.

You used to be an excellent follow. You’ve gone off the deep end in recent months. What is this, seriously?

— Danica McLellan (@danicamclellan) October 18, 2018

Because it's absolutely not possible that Heidi Cruz was attracted to qualities in Ted that you discount or ignore. No, it couldn't be that.

Be better than this, if that's possible.

If you’re not a garbage person, it’s quite easy to be better than Susan Hennessey.
