You know, we could maybe muster up a shred of respect for the media if they were at least willing to pretend to put in some effort … but this take by ABC News political director Rick Klein on the #AbolishICE hashtag suggests that they’re just not anymore:
The Note: Trump, Republicans pounce on progressives’ new movement – https://t.co/TmJMyYvc6q via @ABC
— Rick Klein (@rickklein) July 2, 2018
He actually said “pounce,” you guys. And not just in the headline. In the article, too!
You wouldn't believe the glutes I've built with all this pouncing I keep doing
— Dave Gray (@docgray81) July 2, 2018
Did they also seize? I enjoy seizing and pouncing together.

No, sorry. No seizing. Just pouncing.
Hey Rick, shouldn’t the story be about the “movement”, not Republicans reaction to it?

Pffft! That’s just crazy talk!

Don’t bother. It seems they’re quite content with “pounce.” Which apparently means they’re also content with not being taken seriously.

Media doesn’t even try to come up with a less predictable headline anymore. https://t.co/OGNyCkj0WK

You guys really need to find another trope. This one is worn out.

Literally a “Republicans Pounce” article.
Find a new angle, libs. This one isn’t working.
