GAME OVER! Neera Tanden shares proof of COLLUSION between Trump and ... Anthony Kennedy?

With Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy retiring at the end of July, Democrats are tripping all over themselves in a mad rush to explain why he’s suddenly a horrible person.

Center for American Progress president Neera Tanden is near the front of the pack:

Just to state this: Justice Kennedy's son gave a billion dollar loan to Trump when no one would give him a dime, and Justice Kennedy has been ruling in favor of the Trump Administration position for 2 years as the Court decides 5-4 case after 5-4 case.

It’s not a big story because it’s a non-story. Even MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle — no defender of Trump by any stretch — knows it’s B.S.:

I worked w/Justin at DB
While he did run a portion of the real estate biz
He was on the institutional side of the bank -NOT private bank
Trump was a private bank client & I believe the lending happened after justin left DB
Trump wanted to borrow from the instit side/they said NO

In terms of conflicts of interest, consider the fact that Obama nominated Elena Kagan, someone who *worked for Obama*. John Roberts worked for Bush's dad. The supposed link between Kennedy and Trump is much, much weaker than conflicts everyone agreed was workable.
