As Twitchy told you earlier, proud socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez — the Democratic nominee for New York’s 14th district — had an interesting guest at her victory party last night, namely a New York City council candidate and virulent anti-Semite named Thomas Lopez-Pierre. According to photos, Lopez-Pierre volunteered on her campaign.
But Mark Levine, a New York City councilman who has been the target of Lopez-Pierre’s anti-Semitism, is urging people to give Ocasio-Cortez the benefit of the doubt:

Ocasio-Cortez took Levine up on his suggestion:
