Chelsea Clinton knows something about being a First Daughter on the receiving end of vicious and hateful remarks. So if anyone out there’s qualified to weigh in on Samantha Bee calling Ivanka Trump a “feckless c*nt,” Chelsea Clinton is.
Curious whether @ChelseaClinton feels that "feckless c**t” is an appropriate term to describe @IvankaTrump

To be fair, Chelsea is pretty consistent on things like this. I’m sure she will chime in. https://t.co/Kvil2d6KE4

And she did:
It’s grossly inappropriate and just flat-out wrong to describe or talk about @IvankaTrump or any woman that way. https://t.co/g59EH9yDsF

When she’s right, she’s right.

I didn’t say it was illegal or should be illegal. It isn’t and shouldn’t be. I also think it’s an inappropriate way to talk about any woman, ever.

Well said.
Amen. We can't excuse misogyny when it's directed at a woman we don't like. That effectively normalizes it and allows it to persist. Thank you for speaking up on this Chelsea. I know this sort of language has been directed at you and it's never okay. We need to go high.

Chelsea Clinton’s own mother would do well to remember that.
