[39-year-old Scott Walker] admitted that on Saturday in Appin Crescent, a public place, he was in possession of an object which had a blade or was sharply pointed.
The object in question was a potato peeler.
His defence solicitor Selina McKay said her client “suffers from significant learning difficulties which have been lifelong”.
Good thing they got him before he peeled anyone to death.
Well, we can't be having that, now can we?

Thank goodness they passed these laws, I mean this is one way to reduce the number of "mashers" walking the streets.

Oh, no doubt.
Serious question: How are you supposed to get a potato peeler, or God forbid a kitchen knife set, from the store to your home without being in a public place?

Hey, that’s not the police’s problem.
This is sad.

This sounds like a Monty Python sketch.
