Nice to hear… https://t.co/rxKu0uNHpz

Earlier today, protesters attempted to intimidate and block new Education Secretary Betsy DeVos from entering a school in D.C. Former Obama-era education secretary Arne Duncan came to DeVos’ defense. Lefties didn’t like that one bit. But if they were pissed off at Duncan, imagine how they felt when American Federation of Teachers president Randi Weingarten — who vehemently protested DeVos’ nomination — took the protesters to task:
Just heard a protester blocked & almost knocked Secy @BetsyDeVos down at Jefferson. We don't condone such acts.We want her to go to pub schls
— Randi Weingarten (@rweingarten) February 10, 2017
Needless to say, Weingarten’s tweet was not a hit with lefties:
She's going to have to learn how to engage with people and not play the haughty victim.https://t.co/ksXoniB4iq

You know there's video so we saw what really happened, right? Also why doesn't Betsy know schools have more doors?

she was not almost knocked down. Cut the crap and step aside.

Delete this. She wasn't almost knocked down.

You clearly missed the point, we don't want her in our public schools.
— Daria Morgendorffer (@WhatWouldJaneD0) February 10, 2017
She's never been in a public school before, why should she start now.
Send her back to kindergarten!
— Marya DeBlasi (@Marya_DeBlasi) February 10, 2017
no we don't, we want her to resign immediately

Why are you serving those who your union is fighting against? Stop worrying about power and focus on empowering.
— Kelly Sheppard (@kstrna62) February 10, 2017
Block her at every corner, at every crossing, on every sidewalk & before every door.
— a grumpy little critter (@grumpy_critter) February 10, 2017
. @rweingarten no Randi, having met you & having had dialogues with you growing up- disappointed. You know her M.O. Cut it out.

If you are not part of the solution; you are part of the problem

I'm disgusted that you're representing unions by spreading falsehoods of partisan BS, RESIGN!
— Mrs. Meowgi (@Earthling_001) February 10, 2017
Not surprised you are lying. That's what you do. Step aside and let a real leader take over our union.
— ehk56 (@EstherKramer1) February 10, 2017
you should resign.

Hopefully, that person is in the AFT and will run for president in the next election.
