Yesterday, actress Kirstie Alley shared some thoughts with her Twitter followers:

TOO much noise 4 me..to ALL those who don't create chaos I salute you. To the rest..duke it out amongst ur selves. The sound of silence ???

This woman took Alley’s tweet as a slap in the face to the Women’s March:

protest is our right and as a woman I would think u would be more concerned that vaginas r more regulated than guns

But Alley wasn’t having any of it:

My tweet wasn't even about the Woman's March..Personally I'd take a great Browning shot gun over you any day of the week. It has a higher IQ https://t.co/Sz7M62ZWFn

Oh. Day-um.

Yeah. That's gonna leave a mark. @kirstiealley

Way to go Kirstie! Also, having a Browning shot gun does a lot to protect women's rights!

@cblockus Kristie if you want to protect your rights a Browning will protect you more than a march ????

For what it’s worth, Alley backed off a little. In her own special way, that is:

Ok ok ok.. I became a little snarky there..Well…sometimes I just have to give myself permission to be a bitch.. gotta admit it felt good
