You know it’s a great day when Planned Parenthood and the pro-aborts are freaking out:
Shameful, @SpeakerRyan. Proud to say #IStandWithPP! https://t.co/gJIT1QUdrS
— Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (@RepDWStweets) January 5, 2017
House Republicans announced today that they will again attempt to defund Planned Parenthood. What an outrage. We need to fight back.
— Bernie Sanders (@SenSanders) January 5, 2017
BREAKING: @SpeakerRyan announced plans to “defund” Planned Parenthood in budget that repeals the #ACA: https://t.co/puykpeQeUv #IStandWithPP
— Planned Parenthood Action (@PPact) January 5, 2017
An attack on the Affordable Care Act is an attack on women's health, plain and simple. #ProtectOurCare
— Cecile Richards (@CecileRichards) January 5, 2017
“Defunding” Planned Parenthood is a misnomer. Their true intent is to block millions of people who rely on Medicaid from PP health centers.
— Planned Parenthood Action (@PPact) January 5, 2017
There’s no line item in a budget that goes to Planned Parenthood — simply reimbursement for care rendered, like other health providers. pic.twitter.com/SaTIpE9PUh
— Planned Parenthood Action (@PPact) January 5, 2017
That’s blocking people like Grecia from critical care — which would hit low-income people, rural communities & people of color the hardest. pic.twitter.com/HiD1ZvGF9C
— Planned Parenthood Action (@PPact) January 5, 2017
For many people, Planned Parenthood is their only source of health care. #IStandWithPP pic.twitter.com/GvCV09raIz
— Planned Parenthood Action (@PPact) January 5, 2017
The American people don’t want — and didn’t vote for President-elect Trump — to see their health care stripped away. #IStandWithPP
— Planned Parenthood Action (@PPact) January 5, 2017
So let’s call this attack what it really is: An attempt to shut down a health care provider for political reasons. #IStandWithPP
— Planned Parenthood Action (@PPact) January 5, 2017
We’ll fight like hell to ensure people have access to care—but we’ll need your help. Call @SpeakerRyan now: 608-752-4050 #IStandWithPP
— Planned Parenthood Action (@PPact) January 5, 2017
Planned Parenthood has good reason to be pissed, but it’s not because they’re remotely concerned about women’s health. This tantrum is about one thing: Fear that their government gravy train will dry up.
Planned Parenthood spends around $30M a year on political activities. That means at MINIMUM they're getting $30M too much from tax payers.

Nobody is saying end it. PP can survive on private donations, as is evidenced by the celebrity galas they throw.
— Stephen Miller (@redsteeze) January 5, 2017
If Planned Parenthood has money to throw celebrity galas and award shows, they have money to survive without public funding.
— Stephen Miller (@redsteeze) January 5, 2017
Seems pretty straightforward, no?
I'm being told the reason PP has celebrity galas is to raise private funds. So away we go… pic.twitter.com/csZ2AYKk1O

No giant org. raises big money w/o gala parties. By no means does that cover the bill of unplanned births. Get real! https://t.co/qBbIr6NIWA

Planned Parenthood throws fundraisers for money from donors? Please go into this more. https://t.co/YUdUtyCYlZ

Because that's how fundraising works.
PSA, Stephen Miller is an idiot

Planned Parenthood is more than capable of maintaining its excellent record of murdering unborn babies without federal funding. And all that money they’ve been getting could go instead toward, you know, funding women’s health centers that are actually concerned with women’s health.
…and reallocate it to women's health centers that aren't engulfed in scandal and don't perform abortions https://t.co/1U0oZ14JgA

What a novel idea! Let’s get this show on the road.
Great news! https://t.co/lq9KzbRU0p

Praise God. Think of how many humans will live ather than being murdered by people who don't want to face accountability

If Paul Ryan is indeed able to make good on his word, that would be a monumental victory for the cause of life.
I'll believe it when I see it, and if I see it, he gets a campaign check from me for life. https://t.co/AQGOZMY3bu

And if it passes …
