Can you imagine if other states followed suit? We’d be that much closer to turning the whole country into a New-York-style liberal paradise!

According to The New York Times, any student who has been accepted to a public university in New York will be eligible for free tuition if their family earns $125,000 or less a year.

Nearly one million New York families would qualify for the program.

Initial estimates show the program would cost the state $163 million when fully put in place in 2019.

If there’s one thing we can count on when it comes to government spending, it’s that “initial estimates” are pretty much guaranteed to be way below the actual cost. But that’s all right with liberals. When all else fails, just spend more! As long as it’s all free, who cares?
