THIS crap, again? Politico puts ridiculous spin on VA Sec's boneheaded comments

As Twitchy told you, Veterans Affairs Secretary Robert McDonald recently compared VA wait times to waiting in line at Disneyland. Because he clearly cares very deeply about the way our veterans are being mistreated by the scandal-plagued VA system.

His callous remarks were disgusting and shameful. But based on Politico’s take, you might believe the real outrage lay in how Republicans reacted:

More (emphasis ours):

Republicans are lashing out at Veterans Affairs Secretary Robert McDonald after he invoked Disney when talking about how veterans’ care should be judged.

“What really counts is how does the veteran feel about their encounter with the VA. When you go to Disney, do they measure the number of hours you wait in line? Or what’s important? What’s important is what’s your satisfaction with the experience,” he said.

Republicans quickly seized on the comments, holding them up as the latest example of the Obama administration’s callous approach to veterans.

C’mon, Politico. Really?

How utterly pathetic.

Parting food for thought:

Bingo.
