'What is even happening?' Phil Robertson's CPAC speech goes 'off the rails' [video]

That honor goes to … “Duck Dynasty” star Phil Robertson.

Robertson was a special guest at CPAC, where he received Citizens United’s “Andrew Breitbart Defender of the First Amendment Award.” Before Jeb Bush was set to speak, Robertson took to the stage to address the crowd … and that’s when things got interesting:

It sure sounds like it:

Welp, now Phil Robertson is talking STDs at #CPAC2015. He just called disease the "revenge of the hippies." pic.twitter.com/Z61VyLywkU

Duck Dynasty's Phil Robertson addressing CPAC very distressed about the 110 million Americans with STDs. Blames hippies.

"What do you call the 110 Million who have STDs? Revenge of the Hippies” – Phil Robertson #CPAC2015 #CPACQ

Phil Robertson of "Duck Dynasty" is talking about the Founding Fathers and STDs and I'm guessing he won't be invited to the '16 convention.

Why is Phil Robertson talking about genital herpes?

— Aryssa's Doing NaNoWriMo (@AryssaReads) February 27, 2015

Phil Robertson is now talking about STDs "I don't want you, America, to get sick!" I have no clue where this is going. #CPAC2015

— Jessica Taylor (@JessicaTaylor) February 27, 2015

I just heard Phil Robertson say the words "genital herpes" in front of a giant ballroom of conservatives. What is even happening #CPAC2015

— PoliMath (@politicalmath) February 27, 2015

Seriously off the rails. Many spectators wondered just how long the speech would go on:

Robertson should go full Castro here and speak for the next four hours

— Allahpundit (@allahpundit) February 27, 2015

I want this Duck Dynasty speech to go on for two more hours.

— Matt Welch (@MattWelch) February 27, 2015

Robertson is scheduled to finish his remarks by Tuesday.

Send help: Phil Robertson holding 2000 people hostage at CPAC. Won’t. Get. Off. Stage.

Even Jeb seemed confused:
